「The hotel is just a short walk from the port and it’s about 7 min away from Lion Square. The sound proof is amazing considering it’s on a main street and very close to the airport. Dimitri made some very good recommendations on restaurants - all of our meals have been amazing in Heraklion. The only recommendation I made is to replenish bottled water every day, rather than just giving 2 small bottles for the whole say. But all in all, good value for money and great hospitality! 」

「The hotel location is in peaceful area, several groceries near hotel and the parking place for the car is in the mall very close at hotel. Staff are very helpful and friendly, also the room was very clean. There are next to the mall buss stop where you can board a free city buss which take to the city center. 」

Wonderful avenues with all the shops are less than a 5 minute walk. Coin laundry on the next corner, you can drop off and pick up same day. You can see the water from the front step. 「The room is a great size with a ensuite and kitchenette. There is a small dining table for two and a balcony. I found the room suitable and good value fof money. It had a reverse cycle air conditioner which came in handy overnight when it got colder. The bed was firm yet comfortable. The kitchen had a mid-sized bar fridge. 」

Strangely, none of the tv remotes contained batteries. A/C was functional and the mattresses comfortable. Steep marble staircase made it a little treacherous for tiny kids.
