「Here are my Pros. Good location. Had free parking. And the best was the breakfast and our breakfast hostess, Pauline. Pauline was so friendly and knowledgeable about the area. She went above and beyond for my Mom. The beds are rather hard and my mom mentioned it and by the time we got back to our rooms she had a foam topper on her bed!! Amazing! There’s also a handy grocery store right across the street. Fletchers is also a very nice restaurant and after a long day of sightseeing it was nice to...

「Absolutely lovely place! Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Room was pristine and the shared bathroom was kept clean and stocked with toilet paper. So many nice little touches to 4 Friends that made our first ever stay in Scotland one to remember! Great location close to lots of little things and easy access to the bus to get further into Edinburgh. Can’t say enough good about here!」

「Nice place for what it is but location has 2 big issues. Road noise is extremely high especially very early morning, bring ear plugs. Buses do go direct to central city but are overloaded in the mornings - commuters and lots of school kids. Some buses are so crowded they don’t even stop」

「Hotel was under renovation and their was a fault on the fire alarm panel both mornings which didn't make the stay feel all that safe with the major renovations going on. Their was no curtains over the window you could clearly see where the pole was taken out the extractor fan didn't work in the bathroom so the window was constantly open and didn't look like it could close. After the stay I recieved another bill from the hotel which km disputing through hotels.com as I had paid for the room...

「I will never understand why a budget location seems to always be filthy and dirty. Cheap furniture yes. Missing a TV no problem. But an uncleaned bathroom with hair and footprints in the shower. No. Toiletpaper still in the toilet? Absolutely not. Coffee stains from the previous guests on the nighstand. Why?! It was easy to wipe it off! I am also sure the floor was never cleaned before we arrived. The bedsheets and towels were clean thou. And considering you are on the first floor (for the...

「Ended up having to have a late check in and they were accommodating, for a fee which was lined in the rules. However the heater in the room didn’t work, the wifi was weak and could not connect. There is mold on the bathroom ceiling. You can hear every door opening and closing, the exit door is right in front of the room, so you hear that slamming each time. The room is a little much for what it is but if it is just a place to sleep, then this it is perfect. It’s a nice area and it’s close to...
