Struttura pulitissima a leith, una zona molto tranquilla a 30 minuti dalla città e a 50 dall’aeroporto. La camera e il bagno sono piccoli ma funzionali. Manca solo un guardaroba . Possibilità di self service gratuito con bevande e biscotti e frutta a qualsiasi ora del giorno. Pulizia eccellente, ragazzo all’accoglienza super gentile e attento. Purtroppo non abbiamo conosciuto la proprietaria italiana ma per incompatibilità di orari. L’unica nota dolente è che nelle vicinanze c’è molto poco e la città è lontana. Per cui è un ottimo punto d’appoggio per dormire ma durante il giorno occorre spostarsi. La fermata del bus è vicinissima. Consiglio la location vivamente. A pochissimi minuti a piedi dal porto.

Staff were friendly, helpful. Bus very handy. Would definitely recommend for anyone who doesn’t need to be in town. Would have been helpful to know there aren’t any restaurants or pubs in close proximity. A list of those nearby with walking or commuting times would have been helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at 4 Friends. Thank you.

Great stay!! I arrived early but was able to drop off my luggage. Lukas met me at reception and was very kind and clear with instructions. Beautiful room, no issues whatsoever. The room faced a relatively busy street but I didn't find it noisy at all. Although there is no on-site breakfast, they are kind enough to provide a kitchen area with some basics like bread, cereal and fruit for anyone who wants along with some discount coupons for nearby cafes. Also it's right by a bus stop so easy to get around. Will definitely stay here again if I am back. Thanks!! -Zac

What an amazing stay. Sylvia and Lukas were so wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was relaxing and enjoyable. As a solo traveller it’s always a concern finding safe comfortable accomodation. 4 friends delivered beyond expectation. Room was gorgeous. Bed super comfy. Highly recommend this wonderful guest house. Convenient location with buses at doorstep.

We stayed here on our 1st trip to Scotland and could not have had a better place to stay in Edinburgh. The owners were so helpful and knowledgeable. They helped us with bus & train schedules, keeping our luggage after checkout, and even finding our lost cell phone! The room was clean & comfy! Would definitely stay here again!

4 friends hotel is clean and comfy place to stay if visiting edinburgh, bit far from old town but walking distance still. Shop opposite side of 4 friends was nice to have. I recommend this place, served my purpose 🙏

It's a great hotel/hostel, very clean and cosy. The only negative (other than street parking) was the traffic noise that I could hear at great volume in my room. All the other rooms were further from the road so it might not be as bad in those. Ear plugs are provided but I don't work well with them so wasn't able to sleep well on the first night. I was knackered on night two so that was a much better night's sleep! The location is great, lovely pub close by and a superb chipper run by locals that does pizza and kebabs too. Try the Hoggie, it's ace!
