“This is a great place to stay. Everything was outstanding. I had only 1 issue and that was just a slow draining shower. I told them at the front desk I was leaving for a bit and could they look at it. Indeed when I returned in 2 hours it was working fantastic. Room was very clean, shower was hot and had lots of pressure. I will stay here again for sure if I pass through Maine in the future. Very nice and courteous staff all the way around as well. Beats a lot of pricier hotels I have……

“Old somewhat charming inn. The staff was uniformly helpful and pleasant, by far the best part of the stay. BUT to get to our room required climbing a very steep staircase with luggage --beware elders. The room was goid-sized and clean with a fridge and microwave, BUT there was no closet (only a hall tree with one wire coat hanger), lights were dim, TV had limited channels, bathroom sink had only a slight trickle of water. Charm without amenities has its limits!”

“Check-in was at four and then checkout was at 10… That’s a very difficult timeframe no time to enjoy the property. We paid extra to stay until 1130 and that was $25. Very nice property too bad it just wasn’t accessible for a longer stretch…it was nice, great location…they work hard.”

“Even though our room was very small it was spotless and cheerful!! The bed was comfortable and the room had a mini fridge and a coffee maker. The location is perfect with beach access and you can walk to bars, shops and the Pier. A few things to take note of- no elevators ,and a loud train travels the tracks. Not a problem for us! We love this property and recommend it.”

“Stay was great. Room suited our needs. My only complaint is that there were 3 of us staying in the room. After a long day of travel we all wanted to shower and discovered there were only 2 towels in the room. I thought perhaps they made a mistake and didn’t realize there were 3 of us when they cleaned the room. I mean 2 towels even for 2 people staying for 3 nights seemed inadequate. When I reached out reminding them there were 3 of us and 2 towels they stated their policy was 2 towels per room……

“We had an ocean view room. The hotel was in walking distance to all locations. The owners are wonderful and help where it is needed. While we were there they were cleaning rooms, taking trash out and having pleasant conversations with the guests. I recommend this hotel 100 %”

“I liked the location. The room was a nice size as well. My big complaint is, we paid over $225 per night and they did NOT clean our room once. We stayed for 4 nights and asked each day for our room to be cleaned, but NOT ONCE.”
