One of the main doors into the Royal Palace in Fez. These doors are very intricately detailed and one of our favorite in Fez.
Be sure not to take any pictures of the guards as they will make you delete the photo as one tourist found the hard way.
When visiting Fez, be sure to get a guide to learn the lay of the land and have less haggling from the locals. Don't trust individuals who say they are guides without appropriate credentials. It can be very easy to get lost in the maze of 9000 streets/alleys even when you have a great sense of direction.
Fez is a must see when in Morocco.

「The staff was amazing. Made you feel at home and comfortable and safe. The tea was especially excellent and sublime in the lounge on the roof. Restaurants nearby had a variety of food including western style food and fast food along with traditional food. The hotel is also very close to the medina as well as significantly closer to the malls and cinema. Overall the experience was splendid and heartwarming.」

"The bell boy was very helpful but the other staff; especially those in the lobby and entrance gate was not at all. The entrance gate staff did not help us get a taxi even if we had luggage. The lobby staff members (usually 3) frequently talked among themselves as if their guests were transparent. "
