"My wife and I stayed at the property the last week of October for 8 days. The house is beautiful with several high-end touches like the molding around the doors and windows, the tremendous views and high-end appliances. The area was quiet and was very walkable. Use of the garage was bonus. We would gladly rent here again. The fireplace was not accessible to guests. We would suggest that the description of the property include the induction oven and the lack of cable service. We had never used an induction oven and burned over 20 dollars of food before we figured it out. Our inexperience was the problem because once we figured it out, we were fine. The lack of cable means you need to bring all your passwords for your streaming services and remember to take them out when you leave. The UTube TV was working without needing a sign in and we were not sure if this was the on the house or someone just forget to sign off. With UTube TV you do not really need cable to get at local stations. Our experience was perfect, very relaxing, and wonderful for enjoying the late fall colors."

"We really enjoyed staying at this beautiful property, the secluded feeling, hot tub, spacious feeling house with options for a comfy stay in or options for hanging outdoors. The host was top notch, even checking in a few times via text to see how we were enjoying the stay and to see if we needed anything! The only problem with our stay was it was not long enough yet it left us wanting to book again in the not too distant future!"

"This home was amazing. There's plenty of space for everyone with four bedrooms, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was very close to many Northern Michigan hot spots, and the views of the lake from the home were outstanding. Communication with the host was quick and easy, and I felt as though they were available should I have needed them. Everything was great. I would highly recommend this property."

"My husband and I stayed 3 nights at Lakeside Cottage to check out the area. From the moment I stepped through the front door, the cottage reminded me of a lake cottage I used to stay in as a kid during our summer trips to Wisconsin. It is so quaint and cozy with amazing views of the lake. The hosts are wonderful, the amenities terrific and I would highly recommend this property if you are touring the area. There are so many things to do within a short drive and lovely to come home to such a cute house after our day's adventure was done. "
