「My room was spotless when I got there. But, because I didn’t read the description completely to see that smoking is allowed in that specific room, I still got a whiff of smoke when I first got there. Thankfully, I was able to extend my stay by 1 hour and right before check-out time.There’s an ATM in the lobby because I had to pay for the extra time with cash. There’s a microwave in the lobby too 」

「I read the mixed reviews and chose Macaw Guesthouse anyway - I am glad that I did. It was a reasonable option in expensive New York City and it was as described. Charming hosts who went out of their way to welcome me and ensure that I was comfortable. Short walk to transportation options and dining options nearby. Highly recommend and would stay again. 」
