We were not aware of this until after the free cancellation period was over. There is no mention in the listing or confirmation that the passport would be the only document accepted. “Overall this place was exactly what we needed for one night before taking the Chunnel. Even the neighbors were so kind and helpful! There were amenities within walking distance, and the town center was just a few minutes drive away. Folkestone is a beautiful town. Thank you for a nice stay!”
