Great Location, but could use some updates
This house is a great location to be close to the lake and convenient for a couple of food places. Getting to the house was easy, but we were given no information regarding the private beach access/parking mentioned in the listing so we had to figure it out on our own until the management company got back to us.
The patio furniture, fire pit, and grill could use some maintenance. They looked like they hadn't been used in awhile and weren't set up. We may have been the first renters for the season. The house was clean except for some bugs in the basement and the appliances had all been updated, but the house could use some electrical updates. Every time we used the hairdryers provided to use or the toaster, we would lose some power and we had to keep flipping the fuse in the basement. Also, the appliances weren't secured so when you opened the microwave or dishwasher you had to be careful not to shift the entire appliance.
The downstairs had a great set up for entertaining and had a variety of games for use on nights in. There were also several amenities provided for us such as trash bags, toiletries, etc. that were very nice to have.
Overall, the house worked well for our family trip and was in a great location, but did have some minor inconveniences.
