"The front desk staff at HI-NYC is on 24/7 and is extremely helpful. I was able to switch my pre-booked reservation from a dormitory room to an available private room with no issues. The hostel is a short walk from the 1 subway station. My room was clean and spacious. Just note the building has an older elevator so give yourself extra time when checking out."

"My stay was a good one. The family is warm and welcoming yet professional. The house is quite large and my rear of the house room (#5) was spacious, secure and comfortable.
