“Owners did a great job with the remodeling. Back yard is really cool. Amenities are well provided. Plenty of eateries near as is a nice park for walking the dogs. All you need to bring is your toothbrush.”

“We stayed at the Hidden Trails Retreat for 3 nights. My husband, myself and our 3 boys (13 and twin 12s) found the home very inviting on arrival! We arrived to a very clean home, with a large basket of snacks! 😋 It was a welcome site after a long drive from Colorado. There was plenty to keep the kids and adults occupied during down times, my husband introduced the boys to some old school PS2 video games and puzzles and games were found throughout the house. “Very spacious and a variety of entertainment amenities such as Nintendo, Home theater system, Neflix, board games and more for families. Very quiet cabin village with beautiful scenery. Joshua, owner is so supportive and quickly replied to me about all questions that I asked. All facilities and home supplies are very clean and well organized. “There were elk, bulls, cows, woodpeckers, lizards.. there is a creek within walking distance and a few more creeks with in a few miles. The cabin it self is extraordinary, me and my family always love coming here. They did a lot of upgrading on the place and it’s even more amazing. I recommend this cabin to everyone looking for a vacation spot. The owners are so nice and always easy to get ahold of. We will be back..”

“Love this property! Plenty of space for our three families with kids and dogs. Love having a place to hang both upstairs and downstairs. They also provide plenty of dishes in the kitchen for large groups. And the host is very responsive!!”

“A Relaxing Time In The Forest. Laze on the wraparound deck. Enjoy the wind in the pines. Walk to the Verde River for a picnic or meditation. Or a dip. Learn to love the incessantly cockadoodling rooster across the road by buying fresh eggs laid by his brood. ”

“We love the treehouse. A creative use of space such that a person has everything one could possibly need. A wonderful bbq (top of the line) on the deck adds to the amenities. We love the downstairs outside area. It's super comfortable. Good comfortable bed. Fans, heat and A/C which we didn't need in early June, but is there if needed. Great hosts. We enjoy staying every year.”

“A beautiful little gem outside of Payson. We were looking for remote place to let our dog run loose and this for the bill! Only complaint is the back fence is not secure so our pup did get out once. The house it's self is extremely cozy. It's the yard and porch that make this place special because they are beautiful! If you're looking for a place to get some R &R outdoors this is the place for you!”

“Very dusty and stains on blankets, needs better cleaning. Toilet seat is cracked and pinches you. Neighbor threatened us and was watching what we were doing. Room a/c unit exhaust broken blowing hot air into the room. Otherwise the property and area is beautiful. Creek nearby. Nice man-made creek on the property. Great location. The ping pong was fun, lots of activities for kids.”
