「Perfect location for me because it was quiet and private. This is a unique and beautiful neighborhood bordering BLM forest. This small home has a very comfortable floorplan, beds, seating and great amenities. Loved the kitchen appliances. The owner is very welcoming and helpful. 」

「Overall, excellent. We stayed 2 nights in winter. Roads were clear. A few other homes in sight but strong sense of privacy. Heating and cooking were good. Good tmobile data reception. Didnt try streaming. TV with DVD player and HDMI input. Driveway is between Bonnynook Rd intersection and american flag. Home is very clean and well equipped for your stay. Hosts are very accommodating and friendly. Top rating.」

「This was the perfect little house for our trip out to see family in placerville. It was clean, convenient and communication with host was great. Love the little touches they have put into this place including the garden in the backyard. My three year old loved the books and games. Would stay here again. 」

「The property was great and had everything we needed. It is conveniently located to local establishments and Safeway. The outdoor areas were large with lots of space to enjoy. Had some trouble with the Jacuzzi heater so we did not end up using it, was only warm not hot.Everything was clean. The bathrooms & showers were very nice and spacious.The beds could be softer. They were hard for our liking. Maybe add a mattress topper for comfort.Kitchen has nice appliances and room for several...

It's rare to stay at a spot where there are cooking spices, tupperware containers, and minimal cleanup/checkout instructions, and all of these little things really added up to make for a relaxing and fulfilling vacation. 「My husband and I had a great stay at the Hoothaus. Great location with easy access to mountain biking and running trails. Close to the lake and to downtown Nevada City, yet still quiet and peaceful. The hosts were very communicative and helpful in suggesting local activities. Space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed! Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area. 」
