Kirkgate Cottage – Countryside Living

  • Kirkgate Cottage is a charming rural retreat set in the peaceful hamlet of Balkeerie, surrounded by the beautiful countryside of Angus. Traditional furnishings blend with contemporary artwork and modern comforts, offering a welcoming and relaxed base for guests looking to unwind in a quiet setting.

Inside, the cottage has a warm and comfortable feel, with thoughtfully chosen furnishings that complement the character of the property, making it easy to relax whether you`re in for the evening or back from a day out.

The cottage shares a lovely garden with the neighbouring farmhouse. Expansive lawns, flowerbeds and an orchard create a peaceful outdoor space where guests can enjoy the fresh country air, ideal for morning tea or letting a dog enjoy the outdoors under supervision.

Great short break

We wanted a short break in a quiet location with the capacity to accomodate our small dog. This property had a nice enclosed garden, was convenient for local towns and also the coast. It fitted the bill perfectly.
