40th Birthday Getaway

Amazing house- great location and very responsive host. We arrived a couple hours early and they were able to let us in! The house was very clean and we loved the outdoor space. We ended up buying beach towels because we had 10 people and there weren’t too many but other than that it was perfect!!!!

Awesome Location

The home worked perfectly for our family. Very spacious with multiple areas for small groups of adults &/or kids to socialize. Everything included in 2 kitchens! We arrived right after a major storm so we had a few problems upon arrival but our Host sent repairmen immediately! Lots of housekeeping and paper products everywhere to start our stay. Host was gracious, prompt and very accommodating.

Incredible location and very spacious

We were a total of 9 (ages 2-70). The location was perfect and they had absolutely everything for the pool and the beach. The entrance to the beach is literally across the street so it was so easy to run back to the house to grab anything. The larger kitchen and dining table were on the 2nd floor so we would do all our dinners upstairs and the easy lunch/drinks downstairs. Management was VERY quick to respond to any questions I had which was very impressive. Plenty of closet space and linens. We mainly hung out at the house but the downtown area is very close by.

This place was EPIC!

This was an awesome house in an amazing location! Across the street from a great beach and the pool was perfect. This house had everything we needed to enjoy the perfect beach vacation. We traveled for an end of summer trip with 5 teenagers and two adults, then rendezvoused with another family who are friends in the area. The two kitchens and upstairs entertainment area were perfect for card games, meals and lots of laughs. The property manager was amazing giving us advice before we arrived (like grocery delivery, beach advice, etc). Then when we need a few additional items during our stay, she was there within an hour! We grilled, pooled, stayed in and went out. Perfect family/friend getaway. We will absolutely be back!

Great Family Beach Getaway!

We spent a wonderful last week at this property, and we couldn't be more happy with our experience. The property is beautiful with an amazing pool, patio, and wrap around balcony porch with oceanfront views. As with most Fort Lauderdale properties, you do have to cross the street to get to the beach, but even with children we had no issues. The beach was beautiful and uncrowded while we were there. It was also located right by a lifeguard stand, which we found comforting with the kids playing in the ocean. As far as the house itself, the two kitchens were well equipped for cooking meals. The beds were all comfortable. Check in and check out were seamless. If I had to give one negative, it would probably be the street noise when outside of the property. However, inside the house, it was not an issue. We would love to visit the property again soon!

College girls 50 year celebration

We had the most fabulous time! The property had a fabulous location; just cross the street and you are on the beach! We found the house well stocked with all your kitchen needs, plenty of pots and pans, glassware and best of all a wonderful supply of melamine plates for taking outside! There was a basket full of beach towels and there were numerous very nice beach chairs that have shoulder straps to make carrying them easy. We loved that the outside table upstairs had seating for 6 as did the round glass table downstairs where we ate every breakfast and lunch! We liked the outside seating up high because we could see the ocean. The lounge chairs were lovely! We spent every afternoon in the pool. It wasn't as clean as we would have liked. The pool guys came Monday morning and scooped leaves etc from the pool and chemicals were put in (greatly appreciated) however, three of us have pools and know how pristine it could be if the pool guys would vacuum and brush the pool sides to really get it looking better! We loved the seating areas in the house; there were many places where different families could settle if you wanted separate spaces. Nice beds and very clean! Hair dryers in every bathroom was so nice; however the tiny lotion bottles weren't enough for people that have been in the sun. I'd suggest bringing your own. There was plenty of toilet paper and paper towels. We would suggest to the owner to supply pool rafts or clean pool noodles. Thanks! We had a blast!

This house is exactly as advertised and was great for our group of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids). Esti was fantastic to work with and communication was great. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs, 3 upstairs, with a living area and kitchen on both floors. The kitchens had everything we needed for many meals in the house. The pool and hot tub are great and are in the sun for most of the day. The balcony upstairs has a great view and wonderful breeze. The proximity to the beach can’t be beaten, but it is a short drive to most restaurants and shops. We appreciated that there were 5 beach chairs and other pool and beach items. The house came with dishwasher soap and other supplies like toilet paper and paper towels. There are only 2 spots to park in the driveway which may be an issue for some groups, but wasn’t for us (you can’t park on the street). There is construction on a building nearby, and looks like it will last many months, so there is some noise during the day. There is some wear and tear on the house as mentioned in other reviews, but it didn’t affect the functionality of the house or our enjoyment of it.

Over due respite

The location was perfect. Unfortunately, while clean and tidy, the house smells moldy and damp, a bit like a wet dog. The water in the toilet bowls and from the tap was brown. We didn't shower the first day and got our drinking water in town for the entire stay. The water did eventually clear up but we didn't trust it for drinking. Zero cell phone and TV reception. Couldn't log into the provided service as our phones wouldn't work at the house. The online photos of the furnishings don't show the actual worn out look. The grouting in the kitchen countertops is moldy in places which can be a health risk. Mendocino is a lovely, inviting town and we look forward to future visits. I'm just not sure if I'll trust VRBO again.

This was a wonderful property located in the 17th.Avenue block N. Fort Laurderdale Beach Blvd. .Walking distance to great dining. Walking distance to the water taxi on the intercoastal waterway. This is a must for anyone. Great way to see the area and get to proper Fort Lauderdale. The home has 5 bedroom 3 1/2 baths. Everything in working order. Two kitchens, one upstairs and one downstairs. The plates, glasses, stemware, flatware, pots and pans were plenty for a property of this size and all in great shape. We were a group of ladies that represent a rental company, Coastal Getaways of South Carolina. We went to relax and rejuvinate from a busy 2022, and boy did we. We were amazed at the quality of the furnishings and linens that were with this home. The pool and pool furniture was comfy and enough beach chairs for all. The beach chairs were in great shape too. Esti the property manager was mangnificent to work with. One of the ladies left her passport. She reached out to Esti and the passport was mailed and tracking number given within hours. Great customer service you have it here. If you are looking for a team building spot, family reunion, or just a great place to getaway this is it. Great communication and the property was a 100% as described online. You can not go wrong. We hope to get back next year.

House was beautiful and very spacious

We were there there with 6 - 21 year olds. They had an awesome time, outside pool area was great. Great sunsets :) Nothing is within walking distance, but just a short uber ride away The ice maker in the 1st floor kitchen didn't work, but we did have the 2nd floor ice maker. Cushions on the chairs could be updated Overall, it was a great house and exactly as described.

This house was nice little little worn

Beautiful location nice pool few broken pool deck bricks, house was nice little worn floors need help. Bring your own soaps, and shower supplies they don’t supply any of those things, host was friendly and let us get in a little early witch was nice and let us stay a little later witch was appreciated. All in all pretty nice place views for days. Enjoy your stay. Check out capital grill best steak house ever.
