Good Place for a Weekend Getaway

This place had what we needed for a pleasant long weekend in Fort Lauderdale. It is clean and decently well stocked, and walking distance to the beach, Publix, two waterfront restaurants and two water taxi stops. The furniture is older and has seen better days, but it was comfortable enough for the time we used it. The kitchen could use a few more cooking tools (sharp knives, pots and pans), but it worked for a short stay. The host company was responsive via text as needed. Once I figured out the laundry app, it was helpful to wash our "return to cold weather" clothes so we could travel light. There is a little shortcut right across the street to get to the lift bridge and over the Intracoastal to the beach!

Not sufficient

Wr traved down with 3 boys. To this location. The furniture is worn down and the bed was very wobbly and held together with some wood screws not furniture screws. We messaged the host about the place because it appeared it onlu had room to sleep 4 and dodnt have a sofa bed. The reply was ..You booked a 1 bedroom and it sleeps 4... well the listing clearly states it sleeps 6. (Later after I checked out early...with a video reply the showed the sofa had some very unusual way to open. That would have been very nice to know BEFORE the inaccurate comment). The televisions did not work. The first story tenants were very loud put side all night. The windows were so thin we heard every conversation they had on theor porches. As you can tell I am not at all happy about this visit. They did not respond in a helpful manner when I brought up the sleeping concern. Then refused to refund the night I did not stay. We are mich more comfortable in Hollywood beach. Staying on the beach for the same ammpunt.
