Great location

We love the location of this property, and communication was top-notch. This specific unit certainly shows some wear and tear (damage to molding and walls, broken light fixtures), but it was clean and stocked with essentials (although coffee filters would have been a plus)

What We Needed

The condo was nice. We just wanted to lay on the beach all day and dinner at night. This property wasn't very comfortable to 'hang out' in, but it served our needs. We needed more towels and it was like pulling teeth. Very difficult and took a long time. You have to communication directly with the owner by email. From what I can gather, the property is owned by a corporation but managed through the condo association. It was difficult to blend the two with questions. At check out, our flight was later. Even though the condo wasn't rented online, the owner was unwilling to give us a late checkout or even to store our luggage until we had to leave for our flight.

Mixed Results

I will start with the good. The location was great. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants on the board walk. The resort amenities were also wonderful and very family friendly. We had an issue at check in because the resort’s key system was offline. Wouldn’t have been worth mentioning honestly if we didn’t encounter other issues. It was inconvenient to say the least and as a visitor it’s frustrating because both parties are saying they can’t help you. The condo itself left something to be desired. First, we almost immediately found bugs. Then, we couldn’t lower the privacy shade in one of the rooms. I contacted the property manager, and they sent someone over the next day. We continued to see bugs, and although the shade was lowered, we then couldn’t raise it. They also moved the furniture and just left it as it was when they moved it. We only had one washcloth for five people. It was a weird experience to be staying at a resort hotel but not be able to get immediate support from that hotel because you’re staying at a private location. If we had just booked directly through the hotel, and we had these issues, we could have called the front desk and they would have helped us. I did not realize when booking that this was a third-party location in a hotel so while we paid to use resort amenities, we did not get the rest of the support model when there were issues. This could have all just been bad luck over short trip but it really hindered our trip.

Awesome

Loved the location. Everything about the stay was easy and very fun. Directly on the beach 5 mins of walking. 2 beach chairs included with stay. Rooftop pool. Communication with property owner was very easy. Overall great time. Will be back.
