“Luxury property with a lot of open space. 4 units and each unit is an entire floor. Our family of myself, daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandsons enjoyed the wrap around patio with peeks of the ocean, as the condo is located right behind the Marriott. The amenity of using the Marriott was definitely worth it. Private beach with chairs and umbrellas included. Get ready to be spoiled by a wonderful beach wait staff! Dolly is just a text away to answer questions or help as needed and we loved the……

“We had such a great stay here for the Tortuga Music Festival. While the weather was not the best, we were still close to great restaurants, shops, and the beach. Walking distance to the festival was a huge plus as well! We had a great time.”

“Overall my family (dad, mom, and almost 4-year-old daughter) had a great experience at Lago Mar. The hotel itself was lovely, room was quiet and comfortable, the pool was outstanding, and staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly, especially with our daughter. Only two drawbacks: 1) the food outside of the breakfast buffet was pretty bad, especially for a hotel of this caliber; and 2) the hotel is very isolated, no stores or restaurants within walking distance. So a tip for other families:……

“The place was a good size for our needs. The one block walk to the beach was nice. The building overall needs some upkeep and updating. I would love to have basic added amenities, like board games, more updated movies and books, and beach chairs, but overall, it’s a good place to stay.”

“The hotel view is beautiful, but the room is not good as pictures, the bed is small, the space is limited. The check in process is very slow. I waited there for near 20 minutes for waiting the long line, I can’t imagine there is only one staff who help guest checking in.”

“Great place to spend a few days. The beach access was nice and they have a couple pools. Room was clean and as advertised. There are a few different bars to choose from. The restaurant food was good, although in my opinion the prices are too high for what you get. But I would definitely stay here again. ”

“Excellent location for shopping and dining, however it’s not a walking distance to the beach. If you want to spend the day at the beach prepare to pay for parking, chairs and an umbrella if you don’t bring your own. The apartment was clean and tastefully decorated. Kitchen has a bare minimum of utensils, pots, pans and dishes, not enough for someone who is planning to cook their meals. I had to be creative with how to squeeze garlic without garlic press and cut a pineapple without a cutting……
