I booked a suite on Expedia for 2 adults and 3 children. When I arrived after a 13-hour drive, we had a regular room with two queen beds — no pull-out couch, no space for a rollaway, only sleeps 4 people. After some discussion, the front desk staff finally gave us a new room and offered each of my kids a treat from the onsite market. I appreciated her difficult situation, but the room was not comfortable for our family, and I had specifically reserved a suite. I recognize this could be an Expedia issue (and Expedia gave me a $25 rebate). However, if Fairfield wants to use Expedia, then Fairfield needs to align its inventory and not over- or double-book. Otherwise, the property seemed fine — though the pool was out-of-order, and they were offering swimming at another hotel. If I travel through again, I would probably stay at another hotel.
