We loved the condo and how it was arranged. Bedrooms each had their own bathrooms. No bunk beds! Best for adults. The only real downer was that the big puzzle was missing many pieces. It was a struggle to do without them.

I was so pleased with the property, It was clean and comfortable. My husband and I traveled with 4 teenagers and we had plenty of room to relax. The unit is on the 6th floor and had an amazing view of the gulf and the beautiful beach. Since it is a corner unit, we had multiple vantage points of the water. The furniture and beds were comfortable, the linens were nice, the kitchen was well equipped, and Wi-fi was good. The rental also included the use of 2 beach chairs and an umbrella, making our beach time even better. As a side note, you will want to go to the beach around 8 a.m. to reserve your chairs for the day as they do fill up quickly and are on a first-come, first-reserve basis. The chair service was friendly and helpful. There were several food options close by and Destin was a very short drive. We visited Gulfarium and did a fishing charter from a Harbor Walk pier, both were close and convenient. We walked on the beach a short distance to a pizza place for lunch. There are also ice cream vendors that pass on the beach for a sweet treat, so take some money with you to the beach.I have nothing negative to say about this property or management. Communication was great and the condo was beautiful, just as described. If I return to the area, I would rent this unit again without hesitation.

Dirty Floors

The floors were not clean when we arrived. It also had several slick spots. The bottom of our kids feet would be black after walking on the floor for a few minutes. Everyone had to wear socks which caused our kids to slip and fall on the tile floor. Very lucky that no one hit their head. Would not recommended this unit if you have small children.

Girls Trip to the Emerald Coast

Property and trip was everything we hoped it would be. Great, comfortable property with excellent views of the gulf. Loved watching the sea life and spending everyday on the water. The beach set up was perfect and Dan accommodated us daily with our requests for an extra chair and umbrella. We enjoyed the local flavor and proximity of the restaurants. When we went into Destin…were glad to be staying in a quieter part of the coast. Will definitely recommend property to friends and look forward to our trip back.

Beach view spectacular!

The beach view was spectacular from our balcony and the breeze was the delightful! Being right on the beach made it very easy to access. The condo itself was a little dated and had a little bit of wear and tear, but overall was sufficient for our family needs. The biggest disappointment was the weight room… Our kids like to keep up with their training as a both are athletic, but we found it to be less than desirable. However, plenty of physical activity out on the beach made up for it.

Wonderful and Great!!

I was completely satisfied with every detail of my stay at the Gulf Dunes Unit 601. My family has been coming to Fort Walton Beach for over twenty years and have stayed at different condos but this one was the best. It was so easy to make reservations, pay the rental and check-in. I will definitely use VRBO for future visits. You people sure do have it together for great service. I highly recommend you to anyone looking for a condo in Fort Walton. Great property and location

The process was easy for renting. The bedroom where there are twin beds was very nasty. I would be happy to speak to a representative about that experience. Not sure I would rent at this property again. This has nothing to do with the unit we stayed in because it was very nice.

Great view, super clean!

The property has very nice views, and is very private since it is a corner unit. It’s very close to the beach and several restaurants are within walking distance. It was an incredibly clean unit, which sometimes is tough to find with beach rental properties. It was plenty of room for 2 adults and 3 kids, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Will likely look at staying here the next time we come to FWB!

The view!!!!

Condo was beautiful! The view from the master suite is hands down the best I’ve had and we visit the gulf twice a year. We had an issue with the bed in bedroom 2. I emailed and we had a new mattress within 48 hours (with updates the whole time)! Condo was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the small complex size so that elevators were never an issue and crowded pool was not either. The daily chairs on the beach were such a great amenity. TV’s in all the bedrooms and living room. Plenty of restaurants nearby so that you’re not stuck in downtown Destin traffic (we LOVED Rockin Tacos and Anglers at the Boardwalk) and AJ’s (across the street). Our family of 8 fit fine and never felt crowded at all. Ice cream and miniature golf across the street as well. The Publix nearby is also clean and very close to stock the condo with snacks or meals. We will be back!

Great Vacation

Loved it! We had a wonderful vacation and hope to be able to stay again in the future! The condo was spacious and enough room for our family to come visit as well. We had every thing we needed for a comfortable month stay. I was going to try to book for next year but it had already been reserved!

Clean, quiet, great views

Great location on the beach. Made great use of beach services: 2 chairs and an umbrella, volleyball, corn hole, paddle boards and kayaking. Unit is on a clean beach with soft sand. It has comfy beds, plenty of hot water, wi-fi and a big kitchen. We found things to do in Fort Walton Beach: miniature golf, ax throwing(!!), and dining but Destin is just a short drive away too. Glad we chose this property!

Really nice rooms

The rooms were very nice and clean, I was very happy with the overall experience. I do wish there was a hot tub but that wouldn’t make my family not come back. We had the max of 8 people staying and there was always hot water and plenty of room for all of us. I would recommend a tv for every room as 1 bed room did not have a tv. But my overall experience was great!
