"The Bank House was tucked away in a neighborhood. Not your typical hotel accommodation. Kind of a cross between a hotel and AirBnB. Private parking available. Upon arrival, had to ring the bell for someone to greet you and let you in. This and checkout were really the only times we had contact with staff. Room was quite large and very clean. Bed was very comfortable. One of the most during our 12 day stay in Scotland. Bathroom with plenty of room. However, the toilet required a below parallel squat to get to and a Russian twist to access the toilet paper.😂 Parking was 8£ per day. Please just roll this into the price of the room. Overall, would absolutely consider staying here again. "

"A very convenient location next to the river. Close to everything. Charming Victorian hotel. Carpets need to be replaced, but generally the place was in good shape. Clean. Breakfast was classic buffet, nothing exciting, but plenty to eat and everything tasted fine. Dinner was pretty good. However, there are plenty of restaurants and pubs in the area, so I am guessing many guests are not having dinner at the hotel. The bar (in the restaurant) had a few draft beers and plenty of liquor choices. The staff members were all VERY friendly and helpful. "

"Lovely and very accommodating staff. Good location albeit up the hill from town centre if walking. Large clean room for what I paid with fridge in the room. Nice bed and hot shower. What more can you ask for. Would have happily stayed there for a week. Perfect stay. Thank you guys!! "
