“I have previously enjoyed exceptional stays at InterContinental properties, notably in San Diego and Sanya. During a recent business trip, due to the absence of a nearby InterContinental hotel, I chose the Holiday Inn Express Jacksonville South Bartram Park (13934 Village Lake Circle, Jacksonville, FL 32258) for a two-night stay from March 20 to March 22, 2025, trusting the IHG brand. I mentioned these issues to the front desk attendant and was told that the fridge would only work when it had things in it. He said that if it didn’t work after a while they would switch my room. “The hotel rooms were very clean. The staff are very kind and considerate. Breakfast was a blessing. Charlie who is charge of breakfast was a pleasure to talk to. He also did a great job keeping all entrees full and hot. This hotel makes you feel safe and like family”

“Door was broken , area was bad , room was dirty and smelled. refused to switch rooms told us our only option was to stay 3 nights and maintenance would fix it then. They refused to answer phone for Expedia support then lied saying we were offered another room so they could keep our money. They said if I wanted a full refund I should have expressed my displeasure in advance and cancel 24 hours prior. When notifying the onsite manager that I can’t be away of a broke door before I get there all……

“There was no cold water in the sink nor the shower, this should be corrected asap. Phone and side tables needed a cleaning. Staff was very helpful and nice.”

“The room was absolutely filthy I should have never taken my socks off. Our feet were black and we have to wipe them off before even putting my socks and shoes back on. The door was open when we arrived, and we were too tired to walk all the way back up to the front desk. At least there were no surprises waiting inside. Will never stay ever again.”

“The rooms are in need of a major upgrade. Room on 1st floor reeked of mildew. Exhaust fan in the bathroom was inoperable. The ceiling had been painted over multiple times indicating this is not a new problem. There was not a single hook in the bathroom for a towel, hand towel or robe. The area of town was a bit sketchy.
