“Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good with standard choice or choice from their hungry horse menu. Room itself was quite tired and could do with an update. Particularly the furniture and bathroom.”

“What an excellent property we found! 12 of us stayed for mum's 65th birthday. Welcomed to the smell of mulled wine & mince pies. Nicely decorated for Christmas throughout. Fantastic, peaceful location. Clean and comfortable with plenty of space for everyone. No need to take anything other than clothes, the property had everything needed. Owners were fantastic. Great communction beforehand. Would definitely return again.”

“The hotel is going through updating, the swimming pool was ok, the room was very dated, the bath panel was broken but all we wanted was a bed for 1 night. When we left one if the updated rooms was open and I must say they looked beautiful. When this hotel is finished I'm quite sure it will be of good standard.”

“This hotel bears no resemblance to the images. The restaurant is closed and the bar poorly stocked I was recommended to go out. The only food offering was Mini Cheddars. The room's TV did not work, and it was not clean. Part used complimentary shower gel was available however. The door handle to the room came off in my hand. “I booked two rooms as a last minute stay. Immediately on bookimg I had two phone calls that I missed as I was in my way to the accommodation. I then received a text message to tell me they could not accommodate my booking and to cancel. I was adviced by Expedia not to cancel as this would be against the cancellation policy - I am still trying to get a refund and will probably have to esculate the process”

“Property was clean. Not as stated entire property. Shared facilities. Bathroom via the kitchen on ground floor had child. Did not feel we could relax here as thought we had entire apartment. Outside next to little shop. Traffic island outside meant couldnt park outside and single line. Area around property made us feel unsafe- wasnt the best.”

“Unfortunately, the property did not meet reasonable cleanliness or maintenance standards. On arrival, the oven and hob were visibly dirty with grease and residue, and the kitchen overall did not appear to have been properly cleaned. There was no bin provided anywhere in the property, only loose bin bags left for guests to manage waste themselves. The bathroom showed visible mould around the shower area.
