“Seems to be over priced, possibly on hotels.com. I'd check the website next time too. Stayed there Sun & Mon night & by Mon we were the only guests but price was still quite high. Good location, to the plaza and streets around. Nice veranda overlooking the restaurant below (it's separate to the "hotel"). I liked the colonial style of the place. We got a double bedroom, with a western facing window. Simple, clean, comfortable enough. But no amenities at all. Fan only and for those in the……

“Our stay at the Casa de Sierra Nevada, A Belmond Hotel, could not have been nicer. The staff was very attentive to our every need and the accommodations, restaurants and location were superb in every way.”

“Overall very good hotel experience. Because of the 6600ft altitude and steep hills, walking back to the hotel from the plaza can be taxing, even for just a few blocks. The hotel had no elevator, so several flights of stairs added to the challenge. However, we chose the upper room over the ground floor because of the rooftop patio access, with nice views. Two minor negatives: 1) shower floor tiles could use some bleaching/grouting, 2) the king size bed sagged significantly on both sides, pitching……
