“We loved our boutique room with huge bathroom and veranda overlooking the lavendar and pool. The bathroom was quite large with a separate room for toilet and bidet, large 2 person soaker tub and shower room. The bedroom was also quite large and luxurious. The air smells like jasmine and there are nice views towards the mountains. Each unit has a secure parking stall and a remote for opening the gate. The hotel is walking distance to the restaurants and shops of Franschhoek. We dined at……

“Beautiful location. Incredible staff. Lovely breakfast.”

“Average stay at a good location close to franschhoek town and also the tram station. Bed sheets didn’t feel clean the first night and we had to request for a change on the second. There’s a small pool however we didn’t really get a chance to use it because there are only a limited amount of beach chairs and guests seemed to be lurking around and jumping to it whenever one became available. Management should consider having a few more chairs there. Staff were very friendly and helpful. ”

“Service, restaurants are outstanding, food is unique and 5 star. A fun evening”

“O atendimento foi impecável desde a nossa chegada. Toda a equipe foi extremamente gentil, prestativa e fez com que nos sentíssemos muito bem-vindos. O quarto era espaçoso, confortável, muito limpo e com ótima infraestrutura. O café da manhã foi delicioso, com produtos frescos e uma grande variedade de opções. Além disso, a localização facilitou muito nossos passeios pelas vinícolas e pelo centro de Franschhoek.”

“We have a lovely stay. Beautiful garden, fantastic breakfast and service. Ideally located off the Main Street. We would highly recommend”

“What a little gem of a hotel. Whoever designed the rooms had clearly stayed in many hotels. Everything you could want was provided. Too hot A/C and a huge fan above the bed Too cold a wood burner in the corner Too wet an umbrella in the cupboard Kettle, coffee machine, biscuits teas coffees etc. Large comfortable bed with good big pillows. One of the best hotel bathrooms I've ever had. Large walk in shower. Free standing bath, big basin. Lovely towels and wonderful cosy bathrobes. Not……

“This place is beautiful and the villa would have been an amazing experience. After check in, we found out that the water in the bathrooms appeared brown-ish. We raised this issue twice with the hotel, and were told that the colour is due to the water coming from the municipal source. There was no filtering in place. The hotel provided drinking water bottles however it ruined the whole experience. We weren’t able to wash after a long day exploring and even properly brush our teeth. Needless to……

“Nice and Clean little place. Breakfast is nice. Rooms are big. Great location . Thank you”

“Chapter House was perfect for what we wanted to do In Franschhoek. It was quiet, clean and the staff were very friendly. Well located near the high street too so a very short walk in. Accessible to vineyards too!”

“Perfect stay”

“Beautiful guesthouse, great location. Staff were fantastic. Would recommend. ”

“Helpful staff”

“Equipe fantástica, ótimo custo-benefício, próximo à estação do wine tram - 15 minutos andando. Se você precisa de acessibilidade, vale frisar nos pedidos especiais (nós ficamos em um quarto com escada caracol). Voltaremos, sem dúvidas!”

“What an absolute treat! Loved every moment of our stay with a warm welcome and a chat every morning, a treat at bedtime and possibly the friendliest, most helpful staff. Pure South African magic!”

“Lovely stay and exceptional staff. Cleanliness during our stay could have been improved as countertops were not wiped or floor sweeped. Crockery were washed but not packed away. Towels not replaced on 2nd day but dirty ones were taken away.”
