“The “A Tex Inn” was warm and inviting. We were there only to sleep, had so much to see and do and we got in 18 holes of golf. Wonderful weather also.”

“Wonderful experience staying at The Barn. Clean, comfortable, private, quiet. Water pressure went to zero the first night we stayed but the owners had someone there ASAP. It took them a while to fix it but the worked their tails off in high temps and were very friendly. They got it working snd no problems after that. We absolutely loved the place and will return again and again!!! I would recommend this place to anyone esoecially a couple. My wife and I were there to celebrate our 2 May……

“The cabin was generally awesome. Really the only 2 problems we faced were noisy neighbors and some fruit flies. We went out and bought some of the traps and it got a lot better. Bugs are also part of being out in the country so it wasn't too unexpected. The bed was super comfy and I loved the bath. The place was just like the pictures showed. We also were able to enjoy the fireplace since it cooled off and sat out on the porch drinking coffee on the rocking chairs.”

“Beautiful lush landscape throughout the property on Barons Creek. Easy walk to all the shops in downtown Fredericksburg. Breakfast was provided. We will be back!”

“We did a suite which was just about perfect for us and the bed was the best sleep we had on our vacation. If we head that way again we would like to stay there again!”

“Location is #1, closest motel to Main street shops and dining. Comfort and quiet are #2, Room was nice (mini-suite), so 2 TVs, lots of space, two separated sinks. No road noise or noisy neighbors. Parking is #3. We had rented a full-size cargo van. Their parking area accommodated the van very well. But, our room had not been renovated, so the bathroom, especially was out-of-date. No grab bar in a slick bath/shower, toilet seat would not stay upright for a guy's use so use one hand to do……

“I liked being able to park my motorcycle right outside my room door. It also made it easy to load my motorcycle each day. Anthony was very helpful with check in on arrival. Food was very good each morning! I would stay here again!”
