"The hotel overall is a 5*. Especially the front of house staff, Akbota. She spoke excellent English and provided top notch service. Very professional and knowledgeable! Always went over and above the call of duty and went back to our room to help me look for something I left behind after checking out. The hotel itself was very conveniently located. The onsen was nice. The aesthetics very zen and minimal (which was tasteful). The negatives are: 1. There was a strand of hair on the bathroom towel when we initially checked in so it definitely wasn’t ours. 2. The room was very small 3. They have what they deem eco-housekeeping. I’m fine with not changing the sheets daily. However they don’t make the bed nor wash the glasses But overall, the stay was very pleasant and again, kudos to Akbota!! "

"overall this hotel was excellent. We could smell smoke (cigarette) but we had a air purifier that helped the smell. We did not take advantage of the breakfast in the hotel since we had more options within walking distance. Staff was accommodating and friendly always offering their assistance."

"The staff at check in on the afternoon/evening of our arrival (19Oct) were excellent, very cheerful and helpful. The staff member who assisted us with a luggage transfer and check out on 20 Oct was also very pleasant and helpful to us. They should all be commended for their friendly service. The welcome drinks and soba noodles were also great, thank you. Trish Brennan (room 2803)."

"Hakata train station is right across the street. There is a Ichiran in the nest building. Clean. Convenient. Staff was very nice. Walking distance to canal shops. "
