"Booking was effortless through Expedia. We were greeted at the door by Pat, the owner. He gave us a quick tour and set a combo code to the front door of the house of our choosing. There is an open snack and coffee area, and "trail magic" shelf full of items that a hiker might need without a store nearby. The shared bathroom was WELL stocked. The cats were very friendly and the inn gave plenty of notice of the household cats. All in all a very enjoyable stay. The actual bedroom was quite small, but we were only using the inn as a base to explore the area. Everything was spotlessly clean. My wife and I are already talking about going back and it's a pretty far drive for us."

The breakfast was actually made with care and effort unlike in other hotels that offer complementary breakfast. Each item was fresh and made well. Nothing burnt, nothing dry or undercooked. Clean room. Starbucks right near the hotel. I was traveling with my 21 month old in cold winter weather. I appreciate the entire staff for making my stay with my baby comfortable and welcoming for me. "

"Every time I step into the lobby of a hotel, I immediately smell the air. And when I get to the room, I smell the pillows and sheets. I'm not checking for dirty odors, I am checking for artificial fragrances "pumped in" to the hotel, or bedding that was washed in detergents that have a perfume smell. I have asthma, and artificial fragrances immediately cause my lungs to have issues. This Hampton Inn was PERFECT!! It just smelled clean, and I am THANKFUL for being able to RELAX and not worry about using an inhaler or mask, or ending up in an ER. There are many people just like I am who suffer with asthma and lung conditions every day. And we need fresh, pure air. There are plenty of fragrance-free options for cleaning, and I wish more hotels complied with that. THANK YOU!!!"
