I loved this hotel so much. The staff are so friendly, the breakfast is amazing with a great view. The rooms are large and super clean. We had an early flight before breakfast started, and they were so sweet to leave breakfast in our room before we woke up. 10/10 would stay here again!

We booked this hotel last minute and could not have been happier its proximity to old town was great.the front desk gentleman was very accommodating the room was well appointed and bed was very comfortable.the mini bar was generously stocked.there was a honesty bar that was well provisioned.the best part of this hotel was the gorgeous breakfast and lovely staff it was honestly the best breakfast we had in all of our stay in madeira.the only slight glitch was the parking if you have a car book parking in advance

Really friendly front desk staff and very helpful as well. Breakfast outside overlooking Funchal and the sea was lovely. Beautiful garden. Could use some updates but generally very nice. Was there for five nights and it felt like home.

I loved this hotel. Very peaceful in the garden, and the breakfast was great. The room is larger than I was expecting and had a small kitchenette that was very useful. The bathroom space is very functional. The staff were super helpful and friendly especially during our very early checkin in and check out to catch our flights. Would stay here again for sure

Great hotel, staff super friendly, rooms are clean, bed very comfortable. Outside area well maintained, Breakfast was excellent and has an amazing view to Funchal. Parking garage comes handy. I had a little trouble looking for the main entrance, it is on the main road next to a big garage door. If you coming with a car try to find parking on the side street or have someone go inside the hotel and ask main desk to open the garage because you wont be able to park outside and get your bags out. It is a busy street.

Lovely room although from the photos on the website I was led to think I had a private balcony with loungers. It was actually a shared one with no lounger. You also need to be fit to walk into and of town with the steep hills there are no shops or facilities nearby

Lovely quiet boutique style hotel. Excellent breakfast, served on terrace with great views across Funchal. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel 10/15 minutes walk from Old Town but on a steep hill. Walk back a bit challenging in the heat, although buses available nearby. No bar, (only honesty bar), and no pool. Good sized room, with added bonus of an equipped kitchen area. Room decor in need of some minor attention, (damp patch on wall, shower cubicle tired). Mini bar and coffee machine in room. Charge made for coffee pods, (and mini bar). Would really expect free tea and coffee making facilities in a hotel of this standard. Overall, a great place to stay and would definitely recommend.

What an amazing hotel. We ended up getting an Uber from the airport, which was no hassle. We were blown away by the beauty of the hotel and the wonderful staff. Extremely helpful. We were able to leave our bags while we explored Funchal. Beds were great. Tea, coffee and cooking facilities. If we ever came to Funchal again. We would come here without a doubt.

Amazing place and outstanding staff. Andre, in particular, was exceptionally helpful welcoming from the moment we arrived and consistently proactive throughout my stay. He anticipated what we might need, offered thoughtful recommendations, and followed up to make sure everything was perfect. The rest of the team mirrored that same warm, professional attitude: quick to greet, attentive without being intrusive, and genuinely proud of their work. It’s rare to find a hotel where the service feels both efficient and personal, this one absolutely delivers, thanks to people like Andre.

Was a bit hard to communicate to the front desk when informing them about my late arrival. They were very helpful on arrival but getting around the property was a bit difficult and the lack of instruction about appropriate entrances at certain times throughout the day made things a bit hard. Breakfast at the cafe on site was lovely. Make sure you inform the hotel prior to arrival if you have a car you need to park. You need a set of keys to get through all the doors and they only give you one set so keep that in mind. Lastly, the beds were extremely hard, we had to sleep on top of our comforters to pad them so our hips and shoulders didn’t hurt
