Fabulous lodging while in Madeira. View is priceless and location is perfect for visiting all the key sites. Great stay for 8-10 people.

The house was fantastic, a lot of space and a beautiful vieuw. The kids are verry happy whit the swimming pool, and the adults have everything they need. We are verry satisfied about the accomodatie, and also about the service grom our Madeira.,

Huge villa. Nice outdoor space. Pool is too cold and expensive

We liked the villa. The space was really good especially outside. The check in and out process was easy and roberta was really nice. The beds were comfy and it’s mainly quiet apart from the cars that come up for the view and sometimes that’s a few young people in the middle of the night. The WiFi didn’t work for us which was annoying as we ended up using data which was more expensive. Also the pool was cold. The children were shivering after 5 minutes even though we’d paid €400 for it to be 25 degrees. It’s a bit misleading to think it would be warm enough to go in. I did complain about the pool and WiFi and expected to be compensated however I wasn’t. The cost for us to stay for two weeks was very decent however if you want to go to and from the old town everyday it’s €30 in taxi fares or more if you go out at night too. The walk is nice to the old town however it’s really hilly, so unlikely you’d walk back in the heat. There’s a shop not too far away but it’s a slog to walk back with shopping in the heat. I’d recommend that you hire a car. The outdoor table and chairs could do with being renewed as they’re dated, but with the seat covers on they were comfortable. There’s a spacious family room and dining table with nice furnishings and art work. The BBQ outside is really big and easy to use. The views are stunning.

parfait

tout correspondait au descriptif. je signale toutefois un inconvenient qui se situe sur la terrasse salon de jardin, il y a une toute petite marche de couleur grise qui nous a presque tous surpris, plusieurs sont tombés et pour ma part le vendredi soir avant notre depart le samedi je suis tombee en rangeant les bains de soleil et me suis fait tres tres mal à la clavicule. vou s devriez mettre de la couleur car elle est de la meme couleur que le sol et c'est plutot traite.

Best Villa you can get in Funchal

This location is Amazing! We visit again! The Pool is great! The bedrooms are perfrekt! The next Supermarked is 5 minutes away. Everything you need is there! You have to see it with your own eyes. This location is highly recommended. Alexander Floeren

splendide villa

Villa spacieuse et très bien équipée pour un groupe d'amis ou en famille. Très bien localisée pour organiser des ballades, des visites sur toute l'ïle La piscine pouvant être chauffée permet une baignade matinale (même si il manque quelques degrés en air extérieur). La salle de billard et babyfoot offre des soirées bien animées. Si nous devons émettre une petite remarque : un sèche linge serait un plus N'hésitez pas à louer cette villa : tout est parfait !!

first class villa

Excellent villa and pool area, very good games room. Magnificent views of the sea and harbour would recommend a car as it is a bit far out, but dont let that put you off. There are many very good resturants in Funchal about a 10 min taxi ride away also good shopping areas,supermarkets etc.make sure you get out and visit the mountain areas as there are some fantastic views . Weather was a bit of a let down, so we will be returning a bit later in the season next time. Pool ws heated (at a cost) so we were able to use it every day, all in all a very good time had by all (ages 6 to 65) would definately recommend this villa

Very good but not perfect

There is no doubt this is a lovely villa with a quite stunning view but it is not perfect. It is furnished with taste and style and short of a sharp knife or two, always missing from holiday lets; there is nothing else you could possibly ask for. Parking is a bit of a chore with more than one car as there is little room at the top of the drive to turn but this is not an insurmountable problem. Two negatives stopped the villa being perfect. Green water in the swimming pool being one. It was very green the day of arrival and was still murky green ten days later despite the efforts of the pool man and his addition of more chemicals. On the last day we used it and from a foot away and wearing goggles, it was still impossible to see the bottom. It would be fair to say the water was not inviting and the pool probably had less use than it would have had it been clear, having paid over 200e to have it heated we were less than enamoured. We had a salt water pool in our house in Canada and the water was always crystal clear, perhaps this one was emulating the Olympic pool in Rio! The second negative was the squatters we encountered in almost every room, including the master bedroom and kitchen. Ants, thousands of the little blighters. They infested my wife’s handbag, left on a chair in the bedroom, were all over the bedside table and were infesting the carpet in the main lounge when Linda came to see us off. At least I was not charged extra for their presence as I was for the one extra person who joined our party. Would I recommend the villa? In all honesty I simply cannot say I would unless there was some cast iron guarantees the pool would be clear and the ants evicted. Would I use the agents again? Yes they were unfailingly helpful at every step of the way, from the initial contact through to the final hand back of the keys on the day we left. They gave first rate service.

We stayed one week and enjoyed every minute!

Villa Luz was perfect, we arrived on christmas day, had no problem to find our way to the villa on our rented cars. We were met at the vills, everything was ready and the pool was heated, nice. We had a spectacual view of the New Years fireworks! Wow, some extra credits for this. We are very happy with our stay and can highly recommend Villa Luz. Regards, Maria Finland

A beautiful villa with a fantasic view

The villa is great in every way from the facilities it provides to the views you see, we could not fault it. Our first time to Madeira and such a great place to stay and explore the island from. The ladies in the office were fantastic and arranged everything for us. I would definitely recommend the tours they booked with Alexgo for the local knowledge our driver provided us. If we ever visit the island again we would certainly use "Our Madeira" to book with and would recommend this villa to future travellers. Thank you all for a great holiday we will remember for a long time.

The villa was everything we hoped it would be and

We loved the villa and appreciated all the extra things that were there, like the exceptionally well equipped kitchen , the size of the beds and the overall quality of everything present. It was a rare occasion that we didn't have a car but it was unnecessary as the buses were frequent and the taxis cheap, It was a first trip to Madeira for the 6 of us and I'm sure we will go back, it certainly was a holiday to remember. We absolutely loved the island .

Top Adresse in Funchal!

Idealer Ort zum Wohlfühlen und entspannen. Großzügiges geschmackvoll gestaltetes Haus mit gemütlichen Wohn-, Fernseh- und Esszimmer. Super Terrasse mit Pool. Sensationelle Sicht auf Stadt und Hafen von der Terrasse und allen Zimmern. Der sehr schöne Garten ist in Stufen angelegt. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Freundlicher Service. Wir würden das Objekt jederzeit weiter empfehlen. Ausflugsziele, Restaurants und Shoppingcenter sind mit dem Auto schnell erreichbar. Wir hatten einen perfekten Urlaub!
