Madeira Palace III

After an inital hiccup with not being met at property we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Madeira Palace III. Views were to die for so spent a lot of time gazing out to sea and enjoying the changing colours in the sky at sunset with drinks on the balcony. The apartment had everything we needed and was clean and fresh. I loved waking up to the sound of the sea. Getting down to the beach which we could see was a bit tricky if you have any mobility issues. One of us had an achilles problem. Three swimming pools to choose from but very cold!!! In a residential area so not as touristy and busy as other parts. A couple of nice restaurants nearby. Easy to get transport into Funchal and back to the airport. Would certainly return to this apartment.

What you see is what you get

The apartment met all our expectations and we spent two wonderful weeks in Madeira Palace Residences. We liked the spacious living room, the well-equipped kitchen (incl. washing machine), the cozy bed and the outstanding view from the balcony. You can enjoy the sunset with pool/sea view and the first thing you hear in the morning is the sound of the sea. The parking garage was right across the floor and comfortably accessible. We spent a lot of time at the pool which was not crowded at all. The location is just outstanding. Few steps to the Forum shopping center, the promenade coast walk to Funchal or Camara de Lobos. If we come back to Madeira this residence is definitely our Number One choice!

Hier kriegt man mehr für sein Geld!

Aufgrund der hohen Hotelpreise haben wir uns bei fast gleichem Preis für das Madeira Palace entschieden und alles richtig gemacht. Die Wohnung ist modern, rießig und hat alles was man braucht. Sogar Waschmaschine, extra Gästetoillette, Wäschespinne, Staubsauger - alles da! Vernünftig große Schränke, Handtücher, Bettwäsche und Reinigungsmittel sowie Salz & Pfeffer war alles da. Großer Balkon mit Meerblick und Schaukelstuhl, Tiefgaragenstellplatz und sogar ein Gym und mehrere Pools in der Anlage. Gegenüber ist auch ein größerer und guter Supermarkt. Hier kriegt man sehr viel mehr für sein Geld als im Hotel. Ich würde wieder kommen!

Super Ausblick mit Baulärm

Wir hatten für 2 Wochen die Fewo gebucht, aufgrund der tollen Bilder. Bei der Ankunft stellten wie fest das unterhalb der Wohnanlage direkt am Meer Bauarbeiten statt finden. Mo.- Sa. 8:00 - 18:00 Uhr sehr lautes quitschen von Baggern und Bsustellenfahrzeugen. Da die Fensterfront kein Isolierglas hat und auf der rechten Seite ein Spalt ca.2 cm Breite zur Wand hatte war es auch in der Wohnung sehr laut. Wir haben uns durch die Lautstärke sehr unwohl gefühlt. Aufenthalt am Pool nur mit Baulärm möglich Entspannung Fehlanzeige. In unmittelbarer befinden sich 2 weitere Großbaustellen. Küchenausstattung war sehr dürftig, 4 Kaffeebecher! Toaster ohne Brötchenaufsatz zu wenig Gläser. Tiefgarage extrem enge Auffahrt zu den Ebenen.
