「Quiet clean and ideally situated 」

「In general hotel out of date. No central heating. Electric heaters in the room. In a bath in 2 taps hot water - no cold 🙄😀There was at least 3 inches of dirt on the window ledges on the stars. Breakfast mini portions and one glass of juice. Max 1 star hotel. 1 star for clean room. Never again. 」

「Great location, plenty off on road parking, staff very friendly, rooms clean, tea & coffee facilities and lots of pubs all within walking distance. 」

「Absolutely charming! The owner and staff outdid themselves with welcoming us later in the evening and making sure to seat us in the quite lovely dining room for a hot meal before retiring to our spacious guest room upstairs. The room was today and had lots of thoughtful amenities: tea, coffee, a variety of snacks, lots of toiletries. Breakfast was very good and served with warmth and hospitality. Definitely a wonderful place to stay. 」

「Room was nice, staff was friendly, gym was clean and well equipped. Breakfast had very good - recommended. Evening meal was average in terms of quality - probably better to go elsewhere. This hotel is charging for parking in a funny way which spoils check-in experience. This should be included in hotel price. 」

「We booked a “deluxe double room” last minute after a long flight, too tired to drive home and just needing a restful night. The room was freezing cold, radiator turned off and window open not ideal on a cold February evening! The window didn’t close properly and the radiator made a loud humming noise. The bed was really lumpy, towels extremely old and the room itself tired and far from “deluxe” We were disturbed by noise from the room below until I got up and complained at 4am to the night...

「The bathroom lock door is non-existent and broken. There are some stains on the carpet. Quite disappointing that there is no mini fridge in the room. 」

「We didnt see any shops, my only reason for one low score, is that we were in room 7 on Friday 20th March. When we went to the room the smell of Fresh paint was very strong. The young lady on reception moved us to another room. Which was perfect. 」

「Shops were quit near but the hotel is not good it’s a old building with poor customer care. Note : there is not power sockets beside bed so keep in mind before booking 」
