The room was old and needed to updated, especially the bathroom. They still use keys versus key cards. Nice location close to marina with nice sitting and walking areas. Pilot Point is a quaint and nice little town. The staff that we met were helpful and friendly.

First time I've experienced a hotel type lodge in a state park. It was July and i was grateful to be out of the heat at night. Comfy and clean, but it's in the wilderness, so you will experience some bugs

Toilet in room needs repaired. Would come on and refill every few minutes. No snacks or anything in lodge, otherwise it was pretty quiet and peaceful. Room was nice and clean and comfortable. Most things to see in town were only open on Weekends.

Great for visiting family

Great location. Great lobby area. Room price is OK. Rooms are confortable. Showers are too small. The hallways are very bright and the light gets into the room with no way to completely block it.

The lodge and lake are beautiful; our room was perfectly clean if just a bit barren. That may be my fault that I didn't request safety measures. Even with the holiday activity, our room didn't get much noise. This was a fun choice. I would book there again.

Beautiful location!! We haven’t even checked out and I am writing this review. My husband planned this for my birthday since all I wanted to do was relax and fish…and we did just that! The room was very cute and affordable. The staff was amazing..special shoutout to Marvin!! He was so helpful and made this experience everything! I noticed slight construction however that didn’t interfere with anything and just means that this place is going to be even more amazing when we return. Definitely coming back with the kiddos. CANT WAIT!

Beautiful location, will definitely go again

Beautiful location, will definitely go again. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We saw deer close to the rooms, the location is great for enjoying the lake. Plenty of local eateries and places to explore. Close to Sharkarosa Zoo, which was great for the kids and definitely a great place to visit and show support. We didn't go out on the water due to the time of year, but they have rentals for boats, kayak's and Jet ski's and the beach along the way was fun for the kids. This would be a great spot for a couples romatic weekend, or a wedding venue too.. beautiful sunsets and sunrise. Lot's of fun trails to explore although we didnt get to explore as much as we would have like due to time constraints.

Wry nice hotel. Great value for the money.

This is a very remote and quiet hotel with a potential gold mine of a location. They are doing some additions which could make this even more beautiful. I wish they would. Clear some more of the brush that blocks a lot of the lake view. It’s very nice as is but could be breathtaking if they did more clearing.
