“Basic accommodation with some nice homely touches. Unfortunately, biggest issue for us were the external stairs up to the front door and also internal stairs to bedrooms. My 76yo mother uses a walking stick and I was temporarily on crutches too so we both struggled. Getting up the narrow outside steps in the dark with no lighting was quite precarious. Listing really should highlight the property is not accessible for those with mobility issues. Bedrooms did not have proper curtains so we were……

“Teviot Cottage was very comfortable and well appointed. It is in a great spot being walking distance to the High Street. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a great shower. It was good having a second toilet downstairs. It would be helpful if there were some hooks in the bathroom either behind the door or on the wall.”
