Wonderful Girlfriends Holiday

The house was beautiful! There were so many nice touches that made us feel right at home. We all enjoy cooking so we planned to make a lot of our meals at the house and the well equipped kitchen did not disappoint. The property the house sits on is gorgeous too. All of the amenities from the fireplace, hot tub, pool table, and outdoor area all made this a fantastic getaway.

So much to do!

We loved our stay! The hot tub was amazing. Nightly fires and s’mores at the firepit were fun. This is a lovely property with great amenities. Each bedroom had an en suite and all were similar sized (I typically find this difficult to find and my twins compete over rooms…this time everyone was happy!). Loved playing pool & pingpong with the family. Great memories were made. Communication was fantastic!! Would definitely recommend.

Had a lovely stay. Everything was exactly as described.Got a nice call a few days before from Kristin explaining everything and making sure any questions were answered. Finding the place check-in was easy (note: google maps has the address slightly wrong... but it's just around the corner once you're there). Living space, beds, kitchen were all good. But the real star on a 0F evening was the hot tub! We had a wonderful time hanging out in the hot n cold. Thanks for the great stay!

We had a group of six adults that thourghly enjoyed our stay in this home with plenty of room for all. Every room was immaculate and well stocked with excellent linens, towels and comfortable beds.The kitchen was probably the best stocked of any we have rented. The beautiful views and surrounding nature combined with the proximity to Galena make this one tough to beat. I would not hesitate to reccomend this property to friends and family and we are already looking at dates for next year.

Sunny Days and Peace Filled Nights

The house is elegant-- very tastefully designed and decorated and well organized. The windows and sky lights give a spacious feeling and you feel like you are outside inside. The view is beautiful. We enjoyed seeing the mist over the trees in the early morning hours. We came to just unwind. We had no schedule. It was a great retreat. The drawback to the house, if you are elderly, is 2 of the bedrooms are up a flight of stairs and one of the upstairs beds is quite high. I celebrated my 83rd birthday with my daughter and her friend at the house. It was awesome!

GREAT STAY IN GALENA

My family members and I very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The weather was nothing to smile about-- it seemed SO WINDY up on the hill! Because of this, we didn't venture into the outdoor hot tub. The home was very clean and extremely well equipped with what we needed during our stay. One criticism: the Keurig one-cupper could use replacement. Also, we had trouble starting a fire, since the damper had been left open and it seemed that something was clogging up the chimney. We didn't feel the urgency to light a fire, so no biggie! Also, our contact person was VERY MUCH available if we really wanted that fire. I would highly recommend this home, as the spaciousness and jacuzzi tubs were well used by my family:)
