"Good central area for Pisa, Florence and other small scenic towns, but definitely recommend a car for getting around. Beautiful, cozy stay and very accommodating owners."

"We awoke each morning to the smell of croissants baking and fresh brewed coffee. Agostino and his parents were very attentive. Offering us suggestions on places to visits. The room was spotless, with lovely Italian linens.
We both love to walk, it was just a 15 minute walk to the old town, and also conveniently located on a bus route.
We would stay here again! "

"Everything about this hotel was perfect. The view from the room, the location near the Uffizi and the Duomo, the decor, the staff & the breakfast were all amazing. Could not ask for a better experience in Florence."

"There were three problems with the room - two were fixed immediately, but the third - flooding of the bathroom every time I took a shower - was not fixed during my 3 night stay. Other than the room was well appointed, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. In easy walking distance from the Duomo and other sights, multiple restaurants nearby, as well as a market selling fresh food, fruit and vegetables."
"Fantastic property. Enjoyed my stay. Only thing is staff shouldn’t be eating guests food after the breakfast buffet in the presence of guests - not professional. The breakfast options could be much better "
"Tucked away, yet in a great location. Just steps from the Pantheon, and a six minute walk to the Trevi fountain. An easy cab ride or Uber over to the Vatican. A beautiful rooftop deck, with delicious antipasto and gorgeous views. The nicest bellman I’ve ever met. "
"Great “new modern” hotel type where the main focus is not on the rooms but on the amenities around the hotel. Multiple dining/bar spaces; fantastic roof top pool and great social spaces in the lobby.
Conveniently located near the train station as well as a quick walk to the touristy areas yet far enough away that it’s quiet and away from crowds.
Only two downsides: we were awoken by the fire alarm in the middle of the night. Nothing the hotel can do about that, however it was chaotically disorganized outside so perhaps a fire drill with the staff might be in order; and we felt like we were going through high-level security every time we came back to the hotel in the evening.. The same gentleman asked us for our keycards multiple times each evening when entering a different space and/or directed us to confirm we were guests with the front desk - this was obnoxious and off putting. At one point we told him he saw us less than an hour ago and again the evening before.. perhaps they have issues with folks walking in off the street, however our private country club back home doesn’t take it to this level.. it’s a social club, not the UN Headquarters.
All said, we would stay again when in Florence when not in a villa, and will try out their other locations during our next travels."
"Old hotel so had to go up a couple flights of stairs with no elevator but a porter met us at the elevator unexpectedly to carry them up.
Good location close to the train station and easy walking to all of the high activity areas but not on a busy street itself, so that was nice.
Front desk gentleman ran the show and was great!
