“The hotel actually has two sections on two sides of the bridge. We were expecting to be on the water side but was disappointed. The room only has a small window facing the back of the hotel. Nothing impressive at all. The staffs were not helpful on anything. We were asked by the front desk to go across the bridge to make booking at the hotel restaurant. ”

“Booked the Cedar Court in Huddersfield as it was half the price of one of the well known national competitors (starts with a P and ends with Inn), and thought I would take a chance. I needn't have worried it was just as good (if not better than the national chain and its a local hotel group as well !), couldn't have asked for anything more, lovely room, great staff, exceptionally clean and well presented. “We visited Healds Hall for a family occasion. The food was excellent throughout - both catering for a large number at the function and serving breakfasts next day - having everything prepared from fresh ingredients. The room we stayed in was obviously refurbished. With the modern amenities of a good bathroom, and the restful atmosphere of the period house, it was a very pleasant experience.”
