The property has extensive rear grounds that go down to the River Black Water, there is free fishing but very little salmon, Scottish Fisheries catch the Salmon as they jump Rogie Falls, however, Brown Trout is frequently caught in the River.
Some of the smallest birds in the UK can be seen in the grounds, with a good selection of Raptors, Stags, Pine Martens, Badgers.
There are beautiful views of the mountains and hills, the property sits within a 'basin' and is surrounded by mountains, & can be seen all the way to Ullapool, great for guests who are both social walkers & more serious Munro baggers.
The property is perfectly placed for travelling the NC500, for going out & about to visit the sights or just a quick stop over before travelling to the outer Hebrides or the Orkneys
Locally there are a number of Waterfalls, the Falls at Rogie Falls, 15 minutes away, were made famous by Robert Louis Stevenson who sat and drew the falls and put the picture in his book, Kidnapped, the main stone is still there to be seen. There is the Corrieshalloch Gorge along the road at 200 feet deep, Falls of Measach 15 minutes away, Castle Leod as seen in the TV series Outlander 20 minutes away, Blackmuir Wood 14 miles away, The visitor centre at Culloden Moor is well worth a visit, just to name a few local visitor attractions.

This property sits in one of the most exciting, diverse and beautiful places i The property sits 6 miles to the west of Garve, it is advised to have transport as the property is very rural with only two buses a day & the nearest train station is at Garve. The accommodation sleeps 3 people in 2 bedrooms & has one shower bathrooms. one of which is ensuite to the master bedroom. The beds are either 5ft King-sized beds or 3ft single beds. All the beds have coverless duvets that are washed after every guest ensuring we provide the most fresh & clean experience possible. There are a selection of bath toiletries supplied along with a bathrobe & slippers for your enjoyment. There are rear grounds that go down to the banks of the River Black Water where guests can sit & enjoy the peaceful clam of the river & the beauty of the surrounding mountains, or be served a meal from the bar. The accommodation is self-catering but breakfast is provided (selection of cereals, bread, jam or marmalade, teas, coffee, butter and milk) with an open plan kitchen lounge/diner with lounge seating. A Smart TV is in the lounge with access to Netflix and Disney+, guests can load their own accounts onto the smart TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with coffee machine, air fryer, cooker, kettle, microwave and dishwasher. There is electric heating in the property ensuring a snug experience even in the coldest of months. There is a laundrette with coin operated washing machines & tumble dryers to deal with the heaviest of demands.
