New mattresses and bedding throughout with 3 master bedrooms featuring king beds. Brand new washer and dryer in laundry room as well. This is a Fantastic Debordieu Vacation Rental 7 bedroom, 5 bath home. Spacious for family gatherings. Enjoy your evenings relaxing on the awesome screened in porch. Spend quality time with friends and family in the open living areas. Take a refreshing afternoon nap in one of the many comfortable bedrooms. Wifi and cable available in the home. Debordieu Colony is surrounded by a beautiful wildlife preserve which you can explore by bike or golf cart rental. Your stay at this beach beauty will be the highlight of your vacation, and will surely help you create wonderful memories to cherish for years to come!

Great memories made!
Our family always enjoys the annual trip to the coast and this was no exception! We had a group of 13 with a wide age range - baby, little kids, young adults and up. The house is nice and has a good communal space. The 7th bedroom is actually a little offshoot from the laundry room with a tiny fold out couch so we had to improvise on sleeping arrangements- but not a huge deal. The main detractor with this rental property is the yard! Wouldn’t really mind because we were there for the beach but having to walk through a sandpit landmine of sand spurs on each trip to and from the beach put a damper on our experience - those spurs end up in the house and they hurt! It was a constant chore to remove them. Hopefully the property owners can remedy this by restoring the yard or putting in a walkway. We’ve been vacationing in South Carolina for 35 years and realize you can’t avoid natural nuisances but never have encountered a yard so filled with sand spurs. Other than that we found the house charming and the rental agency was very hospitable! We look forward to returning to the area!

Family Gathering at our Favorite Beach
We appreciated that the owners had put time and thought into making this house funcional for a crowd. There were ample places for the family to separate and have space to themselves. The patio refrigerator/freezer was ample for our food storage. Although new, the icemaker was not working. The Rental company gave us funds with which to buy ice, but being spoiled Americans, this was a little inconvenient. Several fans installed in the screened porch would be very helpful, since it tended to get hot. We would love for the owners to add 2 bedrooms and we would gladly rent every year!!

Family Beach Week
My family met at the beach for a week long vacation- kids ages infant to 9 years and adults. First the positives: 1. The house is literally diagonal from the beach access so a 3 minute walk to the beach. 2. House setup in a great way for families. Bathrooms at each corner so each family had their own bathroom. 3. Screen porch was fabulous. 4. Neighbors near, but still felt like we had privacy. 5. House close to Pawleys Island with grocery stores and restaurants. Negatives: 1. AC unit was broken upon arrival. They did fix it while we were there. 2. Sugar ants in the kitchen and spiders on the screen porch. 3. No beach supplies provided - meaning we rented chairs, umbrellas, golf cart, etc. 4. No fan on the screen porch. We enjoyed our stay, and would ultimately stay here again. Thank you!

Awesome house awesome location
This was our second year staying at this house and again it met all of our needs! The owners have made some upgrades in the kitchen and added a new large fridge and wine/beer fridge which were really helpful for larger groups. The 7 bedroom layout works great for multiple families and allowed for multiple options for our kids to “bunk up” with other kids. We loved having two living room spaces (one upstairs and one down) great for doing movie nights for the kids after long beach days. The location really can’t be beat. Easy walk to the beach and very close to the main club pool and restaurant (but not so close you feel overcrowded on busy days). Will definitely stay here again!

Very nice property. Plenty of bedroom and living space. If I could change anything it would be to add a ceiling fan on the screen porch. Went to airport to pick up family, stopped to get key on way back, then we were going to buy groceries- couldn’t get key till exactly 3 pm so had to go buy groceries and come back for key.

Beautiful neighborhood with lots of caveats
This particular property is a bit tired and in need of some love. Functionally fine and with a few nice surprises (2 bikes under deck, barbecue) but the WiFi dropped often, using the separate hotel quality (read very basic) gym costs per person per day equivalent to 1990 hotel internet access fees! If it was a great gym then fine, but it was just sub-par. The pool side drinks have a poor selection as well. The surrounding property itself is gorgeous
