“We had a lovely 3-night stay. The cottage was cozy and clean. The bed was very comfortable - soft, but not too soft. Pillows were great. Enjoyed a bonfire and smores at night; coffee and turtle watching from the boathouse dock at sunrise. We had a perfect view of the eclipse from the dock. Luckily, the rain clouds held off until after totality. Internet connection was strong and supported multiple devices. We were also able to smoothly stream movies in the evening, even with a thunderstorm……

“Bucolic serenity! The barn loft is an adorable quiet hideaway. About 3 miles off busy Interstate 20, but a world away! The only reason the surrounding area lost a star is because it is a rustic environment - but that’s part of its charm! Don’t arrive here in high heels; wear your hikers or your mucking boots to walk around the farm, but once inside the loft you’ll be in a spotless, cocoon of comfort. “Friendly staff. Helpful. Rooms average. Fridge made noise - every 30-40 minutes. (106). Needs to be cleaned, also. Otherwise good stay for the price.”
