“Our trip was absolutely dreamy. This house has gorgeous views and we kept saying how it was such a special place to eat breakfast or lunch or celebrate a birthday. Just special. We loved exploring Shore Acres and planted ourselves several times at Bastendorf beach which is super close to the house. The house is very accommodating. We did buy more salt and pepper but that’s not a big deal. The hardest part for us is that the light comes through the windows at our kids’ bed times making it hard……

“This newly remodeled home was convenient for us: close to The Mill Hotel. Access was a little odd, but we got in. Towels seemed to be missing; we left some as a house gift.”

“Great place and location. Would only say that the upstairs beds are really for children - a bit too soft for full size adults. Overall, really good experience.”

“This was exactly what we were looking for with our trip! The cabin was cozy/clean with a ton of cute personality and amazing views. The fire pit and dock were the perfect hang out spots. It felt like we had the whole lake to ourselves. We were also a little rusty with our boat skills but the company they recommended for rental were also 10/10. The only problem was that we should have booked it for more days. Thank you for the great memories!”

“Kitchen floor needed to be mopped. Floor was sticky. Our bare feet or socks were sticking to the floor night the night of arrival we first noticed. Rhe door locked us out the next day a code wouldn’t work. Brandon was great help. He gave me the code for the key box to get back in. Otherwise our stay was good.”

“We have family that lives nearby this location, so this worked out really well for us. It was very comfortable, clean, and homey. The deck has beautiful views. The large dining area with table and chairs allowed us all to gather for an evening of pizza and games. It is a quiet neighborhood, so we were comfortable leaving our elderly father alone to rest when he didn't feel like going out with us. We will definitely consider using it for future visits.”

“Property is cute, clean, and cozy! Functions perfectly as a landing pad between trips to the beach! Walking distance to the nearest diner, it is centrally located and super convenient.”

“It was a cute house with a convenient location to the Ocean! The only issue that we had was the power going out a few times because the circuit breakers were popping due to the plug in heater in the main room.”

“The place was Great. Beautiful log cabin close to the marina . Easy and short ride in . Large grassy area for my dog to run around. Everybody loved the place.”

“We rented the back and front and enjoyed plenty of space for kids, adults, toys and pets. Very family friendly place! Inside was tidy, outside could have used some pick-up, but was fine. Great fire pit, fun rope swing and fort area! Easy access to the dunes for all levels of riders! Was caught off guard by only having wood heat for the house.....but we made do. Would definitely consider staying again, the good definitely outweighed the not so good (nothing was bad)!”

“Great location. Very nice remodeled home with everything you need. I’ve stayed in the apartment below and that is very nice as well. Check in is very easy. They are very responsive. Had to extend my stay and the management company helped me keep it for a few extra days. Loved cooking in the kitchen.”

“I will definitely be back! The mini lakefront cabin was so wonderful. It was quiet and cozy and everything the listing said it was. Small but fully useable staying there was like home but miniaturized. Sitting in the deck in the morning and drinking coffee while the lake woke up was my favorite thing ever. Being boat in only there was no road noise - only quiet and in the evening you can hear the ocean. Check in was easy, finding the house via boat was easy (come in the daylight!), staying there……

“We had a great time here. While we were initially disappointed at check in because the indoor pool was closed (part of the reason we booked!) the staff was friendly and kind. The room exceeded our expectations. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the room was clean and the balcony was perfect to give us a little alone time while our kids were sleeping. We would stay here again!”
