“I wanted a quiet and private place to write, and Dulcinea's Cabin provided both. Only the sound of the ocean for company, it was a perfect writer's retreat.”

“Everything you need to be comfortable. Out in nature away from chaos could stay for days if we could.”

“Overall excellent stay. Description of house was perfect. Tiny space was spotless! Outdoor space beautiful. Everything needed was available. Chilly time of year and heater worked great. Decor was so welcoming. Surprisingly quiet for being on someone’s property. Close to town.Bed was very comfortable. Only negative comments I would add is that there were a lot of vehicles on the property and the parking space got tight a few times. My husband backs in well but needed a few k turns…it did get……

“This is our second stay. My husband and I love this house! It is absolutely peaceful. The dogs love it. We like to go to just unplug and spend time together. The only thing missing was a plug for the tub.”

“Just went to decompress and relax and that’s exactly what we did. The bridge was kind of loud but get used to it. The view from the apartment is beautiful . It was nice to go walk down by the little shops along the water. The code to get in the apartment is very long, that was kind of a pain . Besides that, it was a nice place to stay.”

“Beautiful condo in the heart of old town. Comfortable beds. Large deck overlooking the river. We saw sea lions in the river And a bald eagle chasing a hawk. Wonderful,”

“Place is as advertised. It has great separation of space for living and sleeping. The place is clean and comfortable with a fantastic view. We really appreciated the location and being able to explore downtown Florence simply by walking out the door.”

“As you can see from the pictures, it's a compact cabin. But I feel like the layout of the place makes it very comfortable. I appreciate that the bedding was not washed with heavily scented detergent. Also the greenroom in the back was a nice place to have breakfast in a sunny place without it being too cold in the morning. The only thing I would let people know is that the bed is pretty hard and there is no foam padding in the unit. I didn't ask the owners about it though so they might be able……

“This place is amazing in every way - so clean and has the most beautiful yard and back area - the hot tub is clean and so very relaxing. This worked so perfect for us and we would definitely stay again !! Cozy and comfortable- the bed downstairs is soft and I had the best nights sleep . Thank you for such a little treasure”

“The accomodations are clean, fresh, and comfortable. The hosts are generous, clearly communicate and respond quickly to all questions. The accomodations are in historic Florence, with easy access to shops and dining. And within a short distance to the beach. I would high recommend this vacation spot.”

“Right on the beach with great views and very easy to get out to the beach. We had an issue with our keys not working but it was resolved quickly. Place was quiet and the curtains thick enough to block out the light so you could sleep.”

“Sliding door does not have a screen to allow fresh air in and the back window does not have a blackout curtain, but the front does. Otherwise a nice unit with a great view. Seemed to be at the upper price scale.”

“I enjoyed my stay here & would stay again. Check-in staff was friendly. The rooms aren't fancy, but they are clean & comfortable. A couple of smudges on the mirrors, but no biggie. The only thing missing was an iron & ironing board.”
