"We booked to stay in a suite which was a great choice. Beautiful, newly renovated and well appointed.
The bed was comfortable, lovely large shower with toiletries and fluffy towels, a neat kitchenette with fridge coffee machine kettle and microwave also fully stocked with plates and cutlery.
The restaurant was closed due to renovations but breakfast was served to our room.
With booking a suite we had a dining area and lounge which made all the difference.
It would be easy to spend a week here and it not cost too much with having all the facilities.
Highly recommend staying!"

"The staff at this hotel were excellent. Every MGM that we have stayed at have been lovely. The deluxe loch view room with breakfast and evening meal was a true bargain. The food was excellent. The room and view weee superb, the public areas were lovely. The location couldn’t be better. The man that checked us is was very helpful and kind and then also served us for dinner and explained everything. The bed, breakfast and evening meal option included a three course meal (with no surcharges at all - not even for a steak). The man that checked us out even gave us a gift, truly lovely hotel chain with kind honest and caring staff. Would recommend and will return. Thank you. "

"The lodge was very clean and charming. We felt at home right away. We were not missing anything that we needed. Communication was easy and quick. We would be happy to book there again.
I suppose the only downside is that it is right off the highway, so cars and lorries are regularly passing by. This does take away from the peace of the lake on the other side of the highway. But this negative point is eclipsed by all the positive aspects.
