“Lovely serene location near the canal and river (might get busy when the weather is good)..Lovely traditional spacious and comfortable rooms, in good clean condition. Communication before arrival excellent. We weren't able to use the spa bath as the plumbing currently needs re-doing to prevent leaks and there is no shelf to put the toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast isn't available at the restaurant currently but there is Toby Carvery or the cafe at Over Farm next door. Location is……

“The room was adequate for our overnight stay. The shower was really good and all the basic usual were there.
The welcome from Nadine was excellent as well as the rest of the staff. We really enjoyed the breakfast, thank you Chef. Overall the Linden Tree is a good, basic stopover, especially if staying overnight after watching the Cherry and Whites.”

“Loved old inn. Staff went over and above to be helpful,dog even had sausage gor breakfast. I found out no lift Expedia said couldn't ca cel without losing my money,when I told them this they said not a problem they would have returned it,again thanks for nothing Expedia. Staff so helpful and helped to get up to bed. Food was to die for had evening meal,lovely fresh cooked menu and breakfast again fabulous. Would recommend and would go again in spite of no lift!”

“Yes the gypsy caravan is small but it has everything you need .... It's clean, tidy warm and cosy, and a great night's sleep. We stayed 4 nights and the breakfasts were slightly different each day but at the same time great quality .. all the staff can cook! We were made to feel so welcome we stopped and extra night! Overall a super pub in a super location. Would recommend booking the restaurant and it's very popular and often full even mid-week. Would recommend to anyone. ”
