"This is the cutest mom and pop hotel. It is older but clean, retro style decor, and right next to the pier village. It was quiet and very spacious. We had the king suite and loved it. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Definitely will stay here again. "

However, service was a little lacking.There was only bartender and a maybe one waitress, it seemed. Our waitress lacked a pep in her step and did not seem to assist, or they did not seem to work together as a team to take care of customers."

"This is an oceanfront hotel that dates back to the 1960s. It isn't a modern resort and that is the charm of it to me. It is updated and crisp but my wife and I always talk about staying at "The Corsair" when we go to Jekyll. The Holiday Inn on the island is almost its twin (must have been built at the same time) but the Corsair is our favorite. "
