“We loved our stay, the house is very centrally located to all the things we wanted to do & see. The owners have done a wonderful job of making it feel like home. ”

“The home was great for conversations with several areas to explore and was decorated for the holidays! As some have mentioned, the driveway is steep, but not an issue with normal weather. There is a grocery store and several good restaurants within a 5 to 10 mile drive. The area was nice and quiet! ”

“There are so many good things about The Big Lodge that I will simply list the ones that stand out in my mind. Comfortable beds, good water pressure and plenty of hot water, beautiful decor, little extras everywhere that made our stay so nice. The host was great, he even took us on a tour of his farm. And of course his peacocks were a favorite of the kids. We’ve been renting cabins for over ten years and this is our favorite so far. Everyone in our family wants to return. Thanks!!!”

Loved all the outdoor spaces- though it was too cold for much usage, loved the plethora of pillows and blankets!! The updates were beautiful and the host was extremely welcoming! ”
