「Close to restaurants and shopping. Great Smokey Mountain Railroad Train Depot about a 2 minute drive from their parking lot. The staff is AMAZING! They give you options for your breakfast and serve it exactly the way you want it. The homemade blueberry bread is delicious. You will get a tour of the grounds as soon as you arrive. The rooms are very clean. The whole place is very charming. I highly recommend. 」

「There are so many good things about The Big Lodge that I will simply list the ones that stand out in my mind. Comfortable beds, good water pressure and plenty of hot water, beautiful decor, little extras everywhere that made our stay so nice. The host was great, he even took us on a tour of his farm. And of course his peacocks were a favorite of the kids. We’ve been renting cabins for over ten years and this is our favorite so far. Everyone in our family wants to return. Thanks!!!」

「We enjoyed ample space and a pretty view while we celebrated the holidays here as a family. The kitchen was well stocked and the fire pit and hot tub, as well as the pool/ping pong tables, were hits. It could use a deep cleaning (thick dust on exhaust fan in bathroom, floor did not appear thoroughly cleaned when we were wiping up a spill), and there were some broken furniture items, but nothing that impacted our stay. The biggest issue was running out of hot water- the listing says it sleeps 19...
