“We enjoyed a wonderful week at Village Beach Cottages ! The atmosphere is welcoming,peaceful & relaxing. It is a lovely property with beautiful views & very friendly people who looked after us so well. Austin was waiting for us at the airport & Claudius was there to take us back when it was time to say goodbye to St Lucia. Everything was looked after. We learned a lot about the island & history of the property from owner Colin Hunte. He asked us what we’d like to see & do during our stay then……

“I made perfect choice booking the guest house whoch was close to Castries. The place was clean and so very comfortable. Well equiped kitchen with everything you would need for the trip. What sold me was the service. Anne, the owner is a super wonderful host. We arrived on the ferry after 9pm. She collected us from ferry dock. She was concerned about whether we were hungry or in need of a supermarket stop. Then she brought us to a food truck so my brother who complained of hunger could get……

“I truly enjoyed the cocoa tea served at breakfast, and most of the staff were warm, friendly, and courteous. When I checked in, they kindly explained how to get to Baywalk Shopping Mall and introduced the hotel’s facilities. Even when I was waiting for a taxi early in the morning at 5:00 a.m. on my departure day, they thoughtfully took the time to recommend beautiful beaches in Soufrière and a bakery well worth visiting.”

“This was our favorite place to stay among 3 in St. Lucia. Would definitely return if we could. Only downside was the onsite restaurant, of which I'm not sure how much the hosts are involved with. One night for dinner I asked what the special Marigot Bay 2 for 1 drink was and the server said: "I don't know." Then, for our last breakfast I ordered French toast and, while beautiful on the outside, the inside was an absolute soupy mess. However, I'm sure with time the hosts will keep trying to……

“Great location, you can visit the shopping center nearby and some food restaurant you can choose. ”

“The communication at the start was horrible. I sent emails and called with no response. I felt ignored so I contacted h otels.com then I finally got a response. Once i was hooked up with Sam, everything was perfect. Sam went above and beyond to ensure my nephew and I were taken care of. The place was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again.”
