The home is comfortable and clean with lots of books and interesting artwork throughout the place. The kitchen is well supplied with cookware, dishes and utensils. There is plenty of comfortable seating. Everything was very clean. There were plenty of towels. It is a short drive or walk into Grand Marais. In town, there are plenty of eateries and a lovely beach, Agate Beach, renown for its beautiful rocks."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Everything was clean, cozy, and the owner clearly puts in a lot of effort and care into this place. There’s plenty of sleeping space and parking (we had one couple and two single adults, two cars), lots of indoor activities to do for the family (games, pingpong, etc), full kitchen, and the washer dryer was perfect for after our hike earlier that day in the rain. Do be mindful of how much hot water you use within a short period of time if you have a lot of people, we were out after the third person."
