“We had a wonderful stay this weekend at this adorable and well-appointed cabin! It had incredible amenities to make a family of 5 very comfortable in between skiing, snow-tubing and hiking. We enjoyed the scenery in the woods with the fire pit and lighting. Will definitely be back! ”

“We’ve been coming to Davis for a long time but this was our first time staying in Black Bear. The Bear Lair was perfect for our stay. Clean, well decorated, well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, and plenty of firewood. The central location was great as we bounced between Dolly Sods, Timberline, White Grass and downtown Davis. Abby was super responsive and accommodating. We definitely plan to return. ”

“Tucked amongst trees, set back from a lightly traveled road, you'll find Carol's charming cabin. You can see a neighboring house on one side, but it isn't too close. We didn't see or hear another human during our stay - the only talking came from the cows. The interior is a perfect marriage of vintage cabin and modern amenities. The mid-century vibe worked so well with the warm wood and cool stone that I found myself snapping photos, inspired by the decor in the ever changing light. We……

“Cozy, peaceful cabin tucked away in the forest but not far from the highway. With local pizza, coffee, beverages, a gas station near by. Easy parking, Beautiful interior, heat works well, good hot water pressure. Really enjoyed the shower! The bed was a bit small for 2 adults but there is also extra beds and the upstairs toilet is very woobily but aside from that no complaints!I would stay here again for sure!”

“Probably one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. Clean, great location, peaceful, and the host even decorated for the holidays. The only iffy part of the experience was that the water left a bit of a residue, almost like the soap never fully rinsed off when washing your hands. Not really a complaint but if anyone else stays and experiences this know it’s likely just a water softener and not something gross or scary. ”

“My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at The Deep Creek cabin. The space was fully equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen, bathrooms, and living spaces, plenty of room for the two of us. We both commented about how comfortable the main level bed was. Check-in was super easy, the electronic keypad to lock/unlock the front door was more convenient than having to worry about a key. We found a bottle of wine and snacks waiting for us when we arrived which was really nice. The cabin is……
