「Our room was very nice, with great lighting for reading in bed. The room was clean and comfy, with a window seat that doubled as a suitcase rest. Wish the soap had been bigger. The staff was nice.」

「I booked two rooms, each with two queen beds. Our rooms were on two entirely different floors. Check in was easy. The pool area was fine, but the floor tiles are extremely slippery when bare-footed. The lock on the fitness room was broken and just lying on the floor. The equipment there was fine, but there were no sanitizing wipes, cups for water, or tissues. The rooms themselves were fine. The stairwells were pretty dirty and looked like no one from the staff ever bothered to clean them. The...

「Very clean and accommodating to my personal needs. Only gripe is was told I was getting a room. With a king size bed. However it was actually 2 queen beds. Not too terrible. But worth mentioning nonetheless. 」

「We have stayed at the Garrett Inn numerous times over the past ten years. The staff/owners are always very courteous and the rooms are always clean. A very nice and quiet place to stay the night.」

「Nice place to stay before going to Ruby Memorial for surgery. Was put in a smoking room, which is not what I wanted. It smelled as if another person had used the bathroom just before leaving the room. The beds were clean but this room needs a new carpet, or better yet, replace with vinyl flooring.」

「Truly a historic building with a warm and cozy atmosphere. Staff is very friendly. Indoor pool is large and clean. Outdoor pool was not open yet but looks wonderful. The view of Union City in the valley below was so pretty. We were upgraded from a standard queen room to a king, which was a pleasant surprise. Lobby has a large fireplace and great staircase. 「The room, bed and bathroom were clean. The pillows were awful. Staff only interacted with required conversation, and the free coffee in the morning was gross. There were people drinking & partying and vehicles loitering all night, it didn’t feel safe at all. Top it off the curtains were short and the room was lit up all night from the lights outside. Not a good experience at all 」

「We could hear the guy snoring next to us and was loud. But we were able to sleep. We set an alarm for the breakfast which ended at 9:30am. I got there at 910am, the biscuits were hard as a rock and gravy was dried up. The only option was cereal, which I don’t eat usually. We ended up going out to eat for breakfast. Other than that - it was a good stay, dark room and great shower!」
