“This house is fantastic, the location is super close to town but away from others. You can still hear the traffic, but if you look up river, all you see is a stunning wetland river ecosystem and a sweet old railroad bridge. We enjoyed our coffee on the deck over the river, saw a pair of mallards, swans, Canada geese, a turtle and a water snake in just a short time frame. The house was comfortable, and meet our needs.”

We came up for a weekend of golf and there was no shortage of great courses nearby. Linda was a very accommodating host and had several suggestions for food in the Rockford area. We really enjoyed the small town atmosphere and would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet weekend away.”

“Place had 9 useable beds for 1 adult each. More sleeping available if you share beds. My group had 8 older males so place was perfect for our golf adventure. Played 3 local courses including twice at American Dunes. What a great course on its own but I don't believe you'll find a more patriotic course in all of golf. House had all the amenities that a group of 8 would want. Also, some of my group even fished off the private dock. Kayaks weren't used but recommended for the more serious……

And being steps away from your own quiet beach access point was amazing. Incredible views and very convenient. Would highly recommend.”
